Early feasibility study of Orion visual prosthesis system resumes

Second Sight Medical Products announced an early feasibility study of the Orion visual cortical prosthesis system has resumed.
The study, which includes six participants at two sites, was halted for in-person visits following clinical trial guidelines put in place in March due to COVID-19, according to a press release. Study visits have resumed at UCLA Medical Center, with Baylor College of Medicine expected to resume soon.
