Hawaiian Eye Foundation president receives medal for People’s Health

As president of the Hawaiian Eye Foundation, John M. Corboy, MD, accepted the People’s Health medal for “supportive contributions to the development of Vietnam’s Health Branch,” according to a foundation press release.The foundation has served the South Pacific region for more than 30 years, and in the past decade has trained more than 1,500 Vietnamese eye surgeons in advanced medical and surgical eye care, according to the release.
