The document aims to provide updated recommendations on the management of retinal vein occlusion (RVO) in the light of recent developments in both diagnostic tools and treatment options that supersede those in the previous RVO guidelines. It has also reviewed the risk factors for RVOs and included recommendations for investigations and indications for medical management.
