The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence has issued guidance on the use of dexamethasone intravitreal implants for the treatment of macular oedema caused by retinal vein occlusion (RVO).
The following recommendations have been made (taken directly from source):
. Dexamethasone intravitreal implant is recommended as an option for the treatment of macular oedema following central retinal vein occlusion.
