Study suggests age-related cataract is associated with type 2 diabetes and statin use

According to the results of a study published in the journal 'Optometry and Vision Science' that used data from a large optometric clinic population, statin use was substantially higher in patients with type 2 diabetes and was associated with age-related cataracts.
