Sutureless intrascleral IOL implantation an option for post-traumatic aphakia
Sutureless intrascleral IOL implantation improved vision in patients with post-traumatic aphakia, according to a study.The interventional case series included 26 eyes of 23 patients with acute traumatic cataract who were divided into two groups. The first group comprised eight eyes that underwent sutureless intrascleral IOL implantation, and the second group comprised 18 eyes that underwent retropupillary iris-claw IOL implantation.
