Radiotherapy treatment for wet AMD to be offered at Swiss clinic
EyeRAD and Oraya Therapeutics will soon offer the noninvasive, low-energy X-ray Oraya Therapy for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration at a clinic in Switzerland, according to a news release.The one-time, outpatient stereotactic radiotherapy procedure, intended to reduce or eliminate the need for anti-VEGF injections, will be available at the Vista Klinik in Basel.
