Patients with anterior uveitis who received two iontophoretic treatments of a corticosteroid formulation demonstrated a response rate that matched the current standard of care of multiple prednisolone acetate eye drops, according to a news release from EyeGate Pharma.The randomized, double-masked placebo-controlled phase 3 study involved 193 patients at 45 clinical sites in the United States.
