FCI Ophthalmics introduces new capsular tension ring design
FCI Ophthalmics has introduced the Malyugin/Cionni capsular tension ring, a variation of the Cionni capsular tension ring from Morcher, in the United States, according to a press release. The ring is preloaded on a disposable injector called the EyeJet, Type 10G. The unit comes with a capsular tension ring affixed to the hook of the injector with a clamp on the injector to keep it from moving until the package is opened for use, the release said.
