Final guidance for Iluvien published in UK
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence in the United Kingdom has published final guidance for Iluvien, which will allow patient availability through the National Health Service, according to a press release from Alimera Sciences. Pseudophakic patients will have greater access to Iluvien (sustained-release fluocinolone acetonide) for the treatment of chronic diabetic macular edema considered insufficiently responsive to available therapies, the release said.
