Preliminary European study results show good performance for microincision IOL

Ljubljana, SLOVENIA — Microincision cataract surgery with implantation of the Incise IOL from Bausch + Lomb showed good visual and anatomic outcomes in a preliminary 4- to 6-month report from a multicenter European study. The Incise is a one-piece hydrophilic acrylic IOL that can be implanted with a dedicated 1.5-mm diameter injector through incisions of less than 2 mm.“We implanted this lens in 25 eyes of 25 patients.
