BrightFocus Foundation presents research awards to five scientists
The BrightFocus Foundation presented $3.5 million in grant awards at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting to five scientists working in the fields of macular degeneration and glaucoma, according to a press release.The macular degeneration awardees were Debra Thompson, PhD, from the University of Michigan, Debasish Sinha, PhD, from Johns Hopkins University and Douglas Vollrath, MD, from Stanford University.
