Vision recovers quickly after removal of small aperture corneal inlay

ORLANDO, Fla. — The rate for visual recovery after removal of a small aperture corneal inlay is quick, according to a study here at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting.“The important thing about the inlay is that we want to show the primary advantages. If the patient is not happy, we can remove it. After removal, recovery is quick and the patient’s vision comes back to what their vision was before the inlay was put into the eye,” Srividhya H. Vilupuru, OD, PhD, told Ocular Surgery News.
