Cataract surgery a beneficial first-line treatment for glaucoma

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. — Cataract surgery may be useful as the first step in treating patients with glaucoma, according to a presenter at Kiawah Eye 2014.“Whenever we’re dealing with glaucoma, it’s important to have a long-term plan of approach to take care of these patients as best we can.
