PRK enhancement after LASIK safety corrects near, distance visual acuity

PRK enhancement after LASIK improved visual acuity and reduced cylinder in cases that were not suitable for flap relifting, according to study findings.The retrospective study included 43 patients who underwent photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) enhancement after LASIK; 29 patients were myopes and 14 were hyperopes. Patients with visually significant cataract, non-plano targets and follow-up shorter than 226 days were excluded from the analysis.
