ESCRS president targets education as focus of term

LONDON — European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons President Roberto Bellucci, MD, welcomed colleagues from around the world, telling them that the focus of his term will be on education.“I want to ensure that ESCRS is regarded as a leader in the provision of high-quality, expert-led education for ophthalmologists,” Bellucci said at opening ceremony of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Congress here.Among other educational initiatives, ESCRS offers an online on-demand education library that includes all the presentations held at recent meetings.
