Safety drives surgeon to perform femto cataract on all patients
LONDON – At the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting here, Mark Cherny, MD, discusses his belief that femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery is safer than phaco. Cherny now performs femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery on all of his patients, and he has performed the procedure more than 1,700 times.
