Cloud-based diabetic retinopathy screening tool granted CE approval

IDx announced that a cloud-based version of its diabetic retinopathy screening product has received CE approval as a Class 2a medical device, according to a company press release.  The IDx-DR version 1.3 device provides HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based screening for diabetic retinopathy to health care providers across the internet.
