Rescan 700 intraoperative OCT cleared by FDA
The Rescan 700 intraoperative optical coherence tomography system has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, according to a press release from Carl Zeiss Meditec.High-definition OCT images appear in the Lumera 700 microscope eyepiece, the release said, giving surgeons views from below the surface of the surgical field, including transparent structures in the anterior and posterior segments.
