Dry eye disease may be associated with anxiety, depression

There may be a significant association between dry eye disease and both anxiety and depression, according to a study.The retrospective case-control study analyzed separate odds ratios for dry eye disease and anxiety and depression among a large population. Of the 460,611 patients included in the study, 7,207 had dry eye, 20,004 had anxiety and 30,100 had depression.
