Man referred for bilateral retinal detachments

A 62-year-old Cambodian man was referred from an outside ophthalmologist with concern for bilateral macula-off retinal detachments. The patient reported progressively worsening vision over the past month, but particularly over the past week. He complained of mild photophobia and nonspecific ocular discomfort.
