Implantable Collamer Lens yields good refractive outcomes, stability at 12 years

A phakic implant provided good long-term refractive outcomes and stability, with a low incidence of cataract, according to a study.The retrospective study included 144 eyes of 86 patients implanted with the Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL, STAAR Surgical) for myopia. The ICL V3 was implanted in 15 eyes, and the ICL V4 was implanted in 129 eyes.
