Good uncorrected and corrected visual acuities at far and intermediate distances were obtained with a distance-dominant diffractive multifocal IOL, according to a study.The prospective study included 64 eyes of 32 patients who received a ReSTOR SN6AD2 diffractive multifocal IOL with a +2.5 D near addition (Alcon). A control group of 64 eyes of 32 patients received a SN60WF monofocal IOL (Alcon).
