BLOG: Malpositioned three-piece IOL in sulcus
Placement of a three-piece IOL is always indicated in the presence of posterior capsular dehiscence with adequate sulcus support. The IOL is often stable in the initial postoperative period, but eventually it tends to decenter due to either incorrect placement or a vitreous push from behind.
