Clinicians in the top earning ophthalmology practices in the country see more patients and collect more per patient than those in lower tiered practices, according to Derek Preece, MBA. Speaking at the OSN New York meeting, Preece compared overhead ratios, staff costs and patient services between the top 10% of ophthalmology practices compared with those in the middle 50%.
