Iluvien receives reimbursement decree in Italy

Alimera Sciences Limited, a subsidiary of Alimera Sciences Inc., has received a pricing and reimbursement decree for Iluvien in Italy, according to a company press release.Reimbursement for Iluvien (fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant 0.19 mg) was changed from Class C, in which the patient covers the cost, to Class H, “with a restriction to patients with an artificial lens implanted,” the release said.
