Cornea Health Round Table: Benefits vs. risks of simultaneous cross-linking and PRK

A nonhealing epithelial defect after PRK or cross-linking can be considered a medical emergency because of the increased risk for visually significant corneal scarring that may develop. Indeed, there are many similarities between PRK and cross-linking.
