Virtual reality app allows students to replicate eye exams

Researchers at Birmingham City University in the United Kingdom have developed a virtual reality tool that allows medical students to replicate eye examinations and learn to diagnose eye conditions, according to a press release.
The mobile phone application uses a virtual reality headset to show enhanced, close-up and moveable images of the interior of an eye, the release said.
