Beaver-Visitec International will acquire the Belgium-based IOL company PhysIOL Group from TA Associates, BVI announced in a press release.
Backed by TPG Capital, the deal will close in the first quarter of 2019.
PhysIOL CEO Marc Nolet will keep a leadership role and join BVI’s board, the release said.
“The addition of PhysIOL marks an important step in BVI’s transformation into a comprehensive ophthalmic platform focused on providing unique solutions to our customers,” BVI President and CEO Dana G. Mead Jr. said in the release.
