Karl Lamprecht, currently a member of the Zeiss executive board, has been announced as the next president and CEO of Carl Zeiss AG effective April 1, 2020.
Lamprecht will succeed Michael Kaschke, current president and CEO of Carl Zeiss AG, when his contract expires in 2020. Kaschke served in his role for the last 10 years, according to a company press release.
