Ocutrx unveils prototype augmented reality headset

SAN FRANCISCO — Ocutrx Vision Technologies is debuting a prototype of its ORLenz augmented reality headset at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting.
The headset, a follow-up to the Oculenz AR Wear headset for macular degeneration, is intended to aid surgeons and retinal specialists during procedures by portraying 2D and 3D graphics from MRIs, CT scans and other medical imaging on a 120° field of view. ORLenz also features a MedTiles visual presentation, overlaying pertinent information on a virtual display over the operating view.
