Eversight receives grant to investigate COVID-19 impact on donated tissue

A grant from the Eye Bank Association of America will allow Eversight to research the effects of COVID-19 on eye tissue donation.
The $7,500 award is intended for investigating the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 in the eye and how infection impacts the safety of donated eye tissue, a press release said.
Research is planned in Cleveland, Chicago and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
