CorneaGen commits to supporting Black community

CorneaGen is committing $100,000 per year to ensure that members of the Black community in the United States can receive a cornea transplant regardless of their financial situation.
“We make this offer to every surgeon in the U.S. regardless of geography or relationship with CorneaGen,” a community statement on the company website said. “Together we can impact this one area and ensure that race is not a limiting factor to receiving corneal care.”
CorneaGen is also committing $20,000 per year divided between three paid internships to recruit young professionals of color
