European Glaucoma Society accepts MicroPulse transscleral laser therapy into guidelines

The European Glaucoma Society has accepted MicroPulse transscleral laser therapy into the latest edition of its “Terminology and Guidelines for Glaucoma,” Iridex announced in a press release.
MicroPulse transscleral laser therapy, which reduces IOP in patients with primary open-angle, closed-angle and refractory glaucoma, is a non-incisional, repeatable procedure performed using the Cyclo G6 laser system and MicroPulse P3 delivery device, according to the release.
