The inaugural Richard L. Lindstrom Lecture will be held at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery annual meeting in July.
The lecture and medal recognize Lindstrom’s contributions to and influence on ASCRS, ophthalmology and the cataract, cornea, refractive and glaucoma subspecialties of anterior segment surgery over the last 40 years, according to a press release. Lindstrom, who is OSN Chief Medical Editor, has fostered collaboration with industry to advance the specialty and patient care.
