Laser vision correction procedures increased by almost 200% in the second quarter of 2021 compared with the same period in 2020, according to a press release from the Refractive Surgery Council.
The second quarter performance contributed to “the strongest H1 laser vision correction (LVC) procedure volume growth in nearly a decade,” the release said. The comparison comes from the second quarter of 2020, during the peak of the national shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
