WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — At Hawaiian Eye 2022, Beeran Meghpara, MD, co-director of refractive surgery at Wills Eye Hospital, spoke about the challenges of performing cataract surgery in small eyes.
“It starts from IOL calculations,” Meghpara said. “What we found, looking at the research that’s out there, a lot of the formulas simply aren’t that accurate.”
