
Trukera Medical announced the launch of the ScoutPro osmolarity system, the first device unveiled under the company’s new name, according to a press release.
The ScoutPro combines nanoliter volume sample collection and analysis in one portable device, allowing health care providers to test anywhere in their office.
“Toxic hyperosmolarity damages sensitive corneal nerves and may cause refractive instability,” Lisa Nijm, MD, chief medical advisor for ophthalmology at Trukera, said in the release. “As cornea and cataract/refractive specialists, we are cognizant of the
