The two lenses have the same asymmetric multifocal design, with an aspheric distance-vision zone combined with a sector-shaped near vision segment. The Lentis Mplus is made of hydrophilic acrylic with a hydrophobic surface, 25% water content and a refractive index of 1.46. The Acunex is made of hydrophobic material with 4% water and 1.54 refractive index.
