SAN FRANCISCO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Eyecelerator@AAO, Richard A. Lewis, MD, of ViaLase discusses femtosecond laser image-guided high-precision trabeculotomy for the treatment of glaucoma.
According to Lewis, the company completed two trials investigating FLigHT, one assessing safety and one comparing it to selective laser trabeculoplasty.
“It’s a unique treatment for glaucoma. It does not require an incision, yet we create a trabeculotomy through the trabecular meshwork,” he said.
