In December 2023, five Medicare Administrative Contractors withdrew their proposed local coverage determinations for MIGS. The changes were originally planned to begin Jan. 29, 2024. Some of the procedures at risk included canaloplasty, goniotomy, endoscopic cyclophotocoagulation and transscleral cyclophotocoagulation.
