An ESCRS survey showed that cost as well as lack of knowledge and guidance are perceived as barriers to implementing a digital OR. Dick offered basic recommendations that can help overcome these barriers.
“One thing is that you check where is the greatest need in your OR,” he said. “Where are you with your digital systems?”
