LOS ANGELES — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, William B. Trattler, MD, shares data on the efficacy of femtosecond-guided toric IOL placement for astigmatism correction.
The retrospective review, which enrolled patients with 1.25 D of astigmatism or less, showed good uncorrected visual acuity after implantation.
“This helps us understand that we can really treat our patients with low levels of astigmatism ... with astigmatism-correcting intraocular lenses and end up with wonderful results,” Trattler said.
