LOS ANGELES — The Tecnis Symfony OptiBlue IOL, a violet light-filtering extended depth of focus lens implant, yielded positive vision outcomes at all distances in patients with glaucoma, Zarmeena Vendal, MD, told Healio.
At the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery meeting, Vendal presented data from an ambispective study of patients who were bilaterally implanted with the Tecnis Symfony OptiBlue IOL (Johnson & Johnson Vision) after cataract surgery, aiming for a plano target in the dominant eye and a –0.5 D mini-monovision target in the nondominant eye.
