
A 64-year-old woman presented to an outside provider with 5 days of left eye “burning, itching, redness and blurry vision” and 1 day of acute “9 out of 10” left eye pain.
She had a medical history of obesity, anemia, basal cell carcinoma, sinusitis, otitis media and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass on multivitamins. Her ocular history was notable for an episode of left eye conjunctivitis 3 months before presentation.
A thorough review of systems was positive for splashing water in her eyes and gardening without plant matter in her eyes. (Read more...)
