
My training following medical school included a year of internship and a 3-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota and affiliated hospitals.
Next was 2 additional years of fellowship training in cornea, complex anterior segment microsurgery and glaucoma in Minnesota, Texas and Utah. For me, those 2 years of fellowship training were extremely valuable and well worth the time and effort.
