Topcon Healthcare launched IDHea Inc., a company focused on driving clinical research and oculomics to advance eye care, according to a press release.
Oculomics is the study of the eye as a window to systemic health. IDHea, or the Institute for Digital Health, aims to utilize modern research infrastructure, including multimodal imaging and AI, to “accelerate drug discovery and enable more inclusive, data-driven care,” and uncover links between ocular health and other systemic diseases, the release said.
