Could AI improve available treatments for geographic atrophy?

Geographic atrophy management could benefit greatly from the combination of novel therapies and AI-driven imaging technology.
However, while our U.S. colleagues have FDA-approved complement inhibitors available but no tools, in Europe, we have approved tools, namely the RetInSight/Topcon GA Monitor, but not the treatments. While we wait to hopefully have access to both in Europe and the U.S., how can we take best advantage of this situation?
