NEW YORK — There were no significant differences in response to bevacizumab injections in patients across different races who had macular edema caused by retinal vein occlusion, according to a study.
“No statistically significant differences were found in treatment response to a single or a series of three bevacizumab injections in patients with macular edema secondary to RVO across different race groups despite a significant difference in presence of hypertension,” Pawarissara Osathanugrah, MD, and colleagues wrote in a poster presented at the American Society of Retina
