
Sarcoidosis is a systemic autoimmune disease that can affect various organs in the body. It often presents with manifestations in the lungs, lymph nodes, eyes and skin.
The common ocular manifestation is uveitis or posterior segment vasculitis. Rarely, it can manifest in other parts of the eye as granuloma formation. In this column, we present a case report of a patient with isolated sarcoid granuloma in the orbit.
A 50-year-old woman presented to our outpatient department with a history of painless progressive prominence of the left eye and swelling for 6 months. She was systemically normal.
